Gawber School SEND
Our Special Needs Coordinator is Miss Rachael Smith and can be contacted via the school office.
"The school go over and above to help support my whole family. Having two children at the school one with SEND and one without. They have gone to the extreme levels of support for my SEND child which has been a massive success. They offer excellent wellbeing being support for my non SEND child as things can be extremely difficult. If it wasn’t for all the extra help and support I am sure my SEND child would be in a specialised provision. We as a family are forever grateful they have given us this chance. Thank you."

Supporting SEND across the curriculum
Our curriculum at Gawber Primary School has been successfully adapted, designed and developed to ensure it is ambitious and meets the needs of pupils with SEND, developing their knowledge, skills and abilities to apply what they know and can do with increasing fluency and independence.
Depending on the nature of the additional need, some of our pupils and pupils with SEND may require adjustments either to the curriculum or pedagogy. This booklet gives examples of these adjustments for all subject areas taught within our school.
