        Welcome to Year 1!       

We are a class of 30 mini-monsters.

We always try our best in all of our lessons and we know how important it is to be a kind and caring friend.

In class 1, we look after each other so that we are all happy, healthy and safe.

  P.E.   We have our P.E. lessons on Tuesday and Friday each week.

  Spellings   Every Friday we have our spelling test and new spellings are handed out for

the following week.

  Reading   Reading books are changed every Monday morning.

  Homework   As well as our reading books and spellings, we also have one piece of

homework each week which will be either English or Maths based.

  What we will be learning   Take a look at the Year 1 Long Term Plan to see what we will be

learning this year.
