Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
World Book Day is on Thursday 7th March.
This year children are invited to come dressed as either their favourite character from a book or to represent a favourite word or words, for example "sunshine" could be represented by dressing in yellow.
School will be closing from 1pm due to the heavy snow and safety of our children, families and staff.
Please collect your child from the normal pick up point.
Don't forget that all of the money raised from the sale of our school book goes towards Gawber Primary School! Every little helps!

From tomorrow morning poppies and poppy merchandise will be available to purchase from the school gates in support of The Royal British Legion. Thank you.

Congratulations to Richard Crossfield who has been elected as our new parent governor.
It was a very close vote and, on behalf of the Gawber Governing Body, I would like to thank both Richard and Jo Froggatt for standing.
I would also like to thank all those parents who took the time to vote. It is extremely positive to have so many parents take an active interest in the strategic management of our school.
Kindest regards
Dawn Bradshaw
Headteacher

Non-uniform ‘Bring a Bottle’ day
Tomorrow, Friday 23rd June is a non-uniform day in school. We would appreciate it, if instead of a donation of money, parents/ carers could send in a bottle of some description (alcohol, soft drinks, toiletries) or some sweets (preferably not chocolate, because of the weather) for our summer fair tombola the following week.
Please note if donating alcohol this must be brought in by an adult and handed to an adult in school.
